American Councils for International Education Arabic Overseas Program in Alexandria, Egypt

For Intermediate Learners of Arabic

• Study for two months weeks in Alexandria, Egypt
• Learn to use Arabic professionally
• Live in the dorms with an Egyptian student
• 20 hours of class per week
• 4 hours of weekly individual conversation practice with an Egyptian

Eligibility:

• Intermediate-level proficiency in Arabic equivalent to Level 1/1+ on the ILR scale: www.govtilr.org
• Undergraduate and graduate students
• Heritage speakers welcome to apply
• Must be at least 18 and have U.S. or Canadian residency
