Background and Context
Join us for an engaging webinar highlighting U.S.–Oman relations through the firsthand perspectives of leading Middle East scholars who participated in an eight-day delegation to Oman organized by the National Council on US-Arab Relations. This discussion will explore the multifaceted dimensions of bilateral engagement, including strategic, economic, and cultural ties, as well as Oman’s unique role as a diplomatic interlocutor in the region. Drawing on their experiences and observations from the visit, the scholars will provide nuanced insights into the evolving U.S.–Oman relationship, offering attendees a rare, on-the-ground understanding of the country’s priorities, challenges, and opportunities for cooperation with Washington.
