Background and Context
Hosted five days prior to the Emergency Arab Summit on March 4, 2025 in Egypt, this event will convene leading experts and policymakers to discuss the implications of President Trump’s proposal for Gaza. Starting with keynote remarks from H.E. Mr. Hossam Zaki, Assistant Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Panelists will examine the anticipated responses from Arab states and the potential geopolitical shifts this plan may trigger, its impact on regional stability, and the broader consequences for U.S.-Arab relations, including diplomatic, economic, and security dimensions.
