Fall / Spring Internships at the National Council's Washington, DC Office

The National Council offers internship opportunities at the Council’s Washington, D.C., office during the academic year (Fall or Spring Semesters).

Please note:

  • Academic year internships are unpaid;
  • Interns must work a minimum of 15 hours per week (office is open 9:30 am – 5:30 pm, Monday - Friday); and
  • Certain events may require intern attendance outside regularly scheduled hours.

Applications for an internship during the academic year are accepted on a continuous basis. To apply, please submit the application form below along with a cover letter, resume, and a brief writing sample detailing what you hope to gain from an internship with the National Council.

Please note: Internship applications for the Fall 2022 Semester are no longer being accepted. Students interested in being an intern with the Council are encouraged to check back for opportunities for the Spring 2023 Semester at a later time.
