Libya's Deputy Minister of Health, His Excellency Emhamed Elhemmali, will discuss developments in Libya's healthcare and medical sector. Deputy Minister Elhemmali is responsible for the procurement of medical equipment and technology, and helping to determine appropriate healthcare strategies for Libya's Ministry of Health in the coming months and years. The Deputy Minister will be accompanied by the senior Ministry official in charge of the Medical Supplies Organization as well as three prominent Libyan business executives from Libya's healthcare and medical sector.

This program will provide a way for companies to learn firsthand about the opportunities for business and investment in Libya, about Libya's needs and objectives, and about Libya's goal to quickly achieve a world-class healthcare sector.

National Council Founding President & CEO Dr. John Duke Anthony will serve as moderator for the discussion. Additional featured specialists will include Dr. Esam Omeish, Chairman of the Department of General Surgery at Inova Alexandria Hospital and Vice Chairman of The American Libyan Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and Dr. Mahmoud Usta Omar, Medical Attaché at the Embassy of Libya in Washington, DC.
