Washington, DC: Dr. Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor will be honoured by the National Council on U.S.-Arab Relations at the 23rd Arab-U.S. Policymakers Conference in Washington, DC this week.
The Council will present its Global Humanitarian and Business Achievement Award to Dr. Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor in recognition of his leadership in education, philanthropy, and building bridges between East and West. Former U.S. Congressman, the Honorable Paul Findley will be receiving the award from Council Founding President and CEO Dr. John Duke Anthony on Dr. Al Habtoor’s behalf. Mr. Findley is a long-time personal friend of Dr. Al Habtoor.
“I am pleased to receive this award from such a prestigious organisation. It is important that we work hard to strengthen relations between the East and West and break down the barriers that have been created following a rise in extremism. Through organisation like the National Council on U.S.-Arab Relations we can foster a better understanding between the American people and the Arab world,” said Dr. Al Habtoor.
