Saleh calls on Yemen government to resign

There have been calls for Saleh to step down from the leadership of the GPC and make way for President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi, who is currently one of the party’s vice presidents.

Many of the opposition forces who took to the streets in 2011 to call for Saleh’s ouster accuse him of continuing to obstruct the country’s transition process behind the scenes.

Salehi added, “We have repeatedly announced our stance toward Bahrain clearly. We are keen (to see) the restoration of peace and security in Bahrain and recognize the country’s national sovereignty, and our diplomatic relations still exist.”

“However, currently, there are certain problems in Bahrain. Like in Syria, we have called on the (government) in Bahrain to fulfill legitimate public demands,” he said.

Wanted Terrorist Arrested in Saudi Arabia
Al-Rabie was involved in Aug. 28 firing incident that claimed the life of a citizen and caused injuries to another.
Al-Rabie was fourth on a list of 23 wanted people announced by the Interior Ministry earlier this year. His arrest reduces the number of those remaining at large to 13, after five others were arrested.
