Held annually in Washington, DC, the National University Model Arab League (NUMAL) celebrates its 28th year in 2011.  Started as an informal demonstration simulation at Georgetown University in 1983, the NUMAL has grown to host over 300 students from 22 colleges and universities annually in an academic debate forum centered around issues relevant to the 22 Arab nations that comprise the League of Arab States.

The Arab Court of Justice will convene at the 2011 National University Model for its seventh year. Ten states will bring their cases before the court over the course of two days. Also, a Reporters' Corps will be present, covering the noteworthy events of the model in a daily newsletter.

The 2011 Agenda, Country Assignments, Hotel Information, and Schedule can be accessed through the links above and below.

The 2011 Secretariat have been appointed.  Contact your chair or other members of the Secretariat with questions, or just to introduce yourself.  If you are interested in serving as a chair in coming years, a good way to gain is experience is to apply for a chairship at a regional model that your college attends.
